Chapter 1 – Ten Years before the Lie (Short Intro)
The birds fluttered into the morning sky as the village was just waking up besides one young little girl. She was sleeping in until… “Lady Kikyo, are you awake?” I stirred awake to see one of the villagers standing by the door “My sister isn’t here but I could try to help you.” I smiled while getting up the man smiled “Thank you my lady.” I looked at him “What seems to be the problem?” He scratched his head “There’s demon outside by the Sacred Tree that wishes to see Kikyo but I guess you should go.” I nodded and left to the tree “Hello..?” A man with long white hair, in a red outfit sat in the tree “Keh, so you came priestess.” I looked up to him and saw dog ears “I’m not Kikyo, demon.” He jumped down “When why do you smell like her?” I smiled sweetly “I’m her sister, Kagome.” He gritted his teeth “Where is your sister then? I need to speak with her” I shrugged “I don’t know. Let’s go find her then.” I walked towards the field with him following “So you’re not afraid of me?” I chuckled “No, you look harmless.” He yelled “I am not HARMLESS YOU STUPID WENCH!” I stopped and looked around and froze up “There’s a demonic aura somewhere in that cave over there.” The demon looked at me “So you share your sister’s powers huh?” I nodded and went up to the cave and peaked in to see demons surrounding a body “huh…?” “What the hell are you doing, sister?” I jumped and turned to see the man holding Kikyo “N-nothing…” Kikyo shook her head “Go back to the Village now. Inuyasha, escort my sister there and I’ll meet you back at the field to help you.” He nodded, grabbed my arm and took me to the tree “Now go.” I grabbed his sleeve “Listen to me, please there is something wrong” He scoffed “What would a child know?” I clenched my fists “I AM NO CHILD!!” He backed up and smelled the air then shook his head “Then tell me” I went to open my mouth as arrows pierced the tree and arms whipped around me “Si-Sister!!” Inuyasha froze up as Kikyo yelled die. I shoved him away and ducked “Sister, stop it!” I watched her run away then a few minutes after I gave chase back into the village as the villagers screamed “ITS INUYASHA!!!!” I looked as he sprinted towards where the jewel was at.
I screamed “NO!!! Stop!!!” “Inuyasha!” Kikyo yelled as she pinned him to the Sacred Tree. I watched as my sister wobbled towards the jewel as Inuyasha pasted on dying on the tree. Kikyo picked up the jewel and I ran to her with other villagers “Sister Kikyo! Don’t move! You’re really hurt.” Kikyo turned to me “Kagome, take this jewel and burn it with my body…” I watched her fall then cried out “SISTER KIKYO!!!!!” I did what she wished but instead I took her job to protect the jewel “I’m sorry sister… The jewel will be under my protection for your death” I went up to the body of Inuyasha “I’m sorry I could not warn you, Inuyasha… Please forgive me… As for one day I shall release you from this tree.” A villager walks up behind me “Come on, Lady Kagome. We have much to teach you and train you.” I nodded ‘Wait for that time and I will need your assistance.’
