Chapter 2 - The Release of Inuyasha
“It’s been ten years, My Lady.” An old woman spoke as a little smile came to my face “Yes, it has mistress Kaede. I am ready to release him from his bonds and dreams.” Kaede looked at as I stood up “Lady Kagome?” I looked at her “He will not attack us. I promise.” I walked out of her hut. The villagers bowed to me as I wore the jewel and hand my sisters bow and arrows on my back. My hair was longer than Kikyo’s and my eye were a light chocolate color. I wore her priestess outfit better than her too. As I made my way to the Sacred Tree in the forest of Inuyasha; everything was silent as the night. I knew demons were near waiting for the jewel to be in their hands. I had covered myself in a barrier so I not to be harmed. I pasted the bone-eaters well then got the sight of white long hair “Inuyasha… I’m here now.” I gripped the arrow then suddenly a hand slapped on my wrist “Finally, you are in my reach wench! Why did you betray me!?” I looked at Inuyasha “How long have you been awake for?” He scoffed at me “As soon as you touched the arrow! Now answer me!” I touched his face “Inuyasha, it’s me… Kagome.” His eyes grew small then soft “Where is Kikyo…?” I frowned “She died right after she pinned you to the tree. Let me get the arrow out of your chest.” He grunted as the arrow released his body from the tree. I moved away to give him time to readjust to walking. I saw down on my legs and waited for him. His hands snapped around my throat “Now I can kill you.” I gave him a look “What have I done to hurt you…?” He gritted his teeth as I softly place my hand on his cheek “Everything is okay. I will not hurt you. I promise” He released my throat and his eyes spotted the jewel “Give me the jewel.” I raised my brow “Uhm, no. That’s one thing I won’t do” He growled then sniffed the air “Get to the village, priestess.” I looked at him as he eyed the area then stood up “If there is a demon nearby I need to kill it before it hurts my village” He snorted and walked away “Suit yourself.” I gawked “Hey, wait a minute!” within seconds an ogre demon hand me in its hands “You have it! Give me the jewel!” I tried getting loose then shifted my eyes to Inuyasha who was nowhere in sight “Inuyasha!?” Inuyasha suddenly appeared hacking the ogre’s head off as a crow demon snatched the jewel off of my neck “Ah! It ate it!” I raise my bow and arrow “Hit it!” I watched as the arrow pierced the demon then a purple white light glared; shooting off lines of lights in different directions. I spotted a shiny light fall to the ground close by and ran to it with Inuyasha. My eyes widened “No…” He looked at me as I picked up a shard “Is that…” I sighed “Yes it’s the jewel. We’ll need to work together to find all of the pieces to restore it back to its original form.” He huffed Fine then we walked back to the village “My people, I and my protector Inuyasha are leaving to find the shards of the jewel. I am putting Lady Kaede in my place until we return” Everyone accepted Kaede but didn’t like that I was traveling with a demon. “I’ll be fine. I promise you” I got on Inuyasha’s back “I love you all.” Kaede handed me a bag “Here are some supplies my lady.” I smiled “Let’s go, Inuyasha.” He nodded and took off into the sunset.

Days later…
“Hmm… I sense a jewel shard coming from that way.” I walked down a path to hear loud yelling “Huh?” Voices of three males and two of girls “Now now guys don’t fight!” “Shut up, I didn’t ask for your mouth to keep running!!” “Uhm, guys…?” I stopped to see three young looking guys yelling and two young girls standing inside the house. “Excuse me…?” They all looked over. The girl with long black hair squealed and hugged Inuyasha “BROTHER!!!!”
